Fairlop Waters Country Park

Fairlop Waters is the largest country park and leisure facility in Redbridge. It is easily accessible from the M25, via the A12. It is a short walk from Fairlop and Barkingside stations, both on the Central Line. We have 2 rooms you can hire for meetings and functions as well as a licensed bar and restaurant.  Fairlop Waters Country Park is also an approved licensed venue for weddings and civil ceremonies. Outdoor Activity Centre

Sailing and canoeing are available with tuition at the Centre. They also offer a variety of outdoor pursuits with equipment hire and safety tuition.

Fairlop Rowing Club

Fairlop Rowing Club has a junior and adult section that train 3 times a week. The club accepts new members that have previous rowing experience or have completed a 'Learn to Row' course. There is a waiting list for the next junior and adult Learn to Row courses so if you are interested in adding your name to the waiting list or require further information please email Fairlop Rowing Club.

Owls Play Centre

An indoor play area which offers fun and adventurous activity for children up to 12 years old. The play centre is multi-tiered with dedicated playzones for babies, toddlers and juniors providing a safe and secure environment for children. Training businesses

If you would like to use the park for training businesses such as bootcamps, personal training or sports coaching you will need to apply for a permit. For prices and more information, please contact parks and open spaces on 020 8708 3141 (open 5 days a week from 8am to 5pm)

Bike Hire

We offer bike hire throughout the school holidays

Prices (per hour): Adult £6, Child £4

Days and times: Tuesday 3 to Friday 13 April

Monday to Friday 10am to 4pm

Booking Information:

To book your bike hire you will need:

  • one form of ID (either proof of address or photographic identification such as Passport/ Driving License)
  • a bank or credit card as a form of deposit (to be held until bike(s) are returned)

Payment will be taken upon arrival (cash or card payments are accepted). Please note that any damages to equipment may incur additional charges.
