Nature’s Corner

Nature’s Corner, held in the 1856 Café, is a chance to come together and chat about all things wildlife at Hainault Forest and further afield. Open to everyone that has an interest in wildlife, whether you know a little or a lot! This informal event allows you to meet other likeminded people and learn something new! Each session, a few resources will be provided to spark conversations around wildlife sightings, news, and ways to get involved. We will spend the hour in the café but feel free to explore the forest before or after! Please note: There will be no Nature’s Corner on Sunday, 31 August. Nature’s Corner will continue on the 14 September, and fortnightly after.

Redbridge Creates Theatre Company are thrilled to present… The Wonderful Wizard of Oz This christmas get ready to twirl through a twister and land in the colourful Land of Oz, where magic sparkles, friendships grow and anything is possible! Join Dorothy and follow the Yellow Brick Road on a quest to find the mysterious Wizard of Oz. Along the way, they’ll meet a lovable Scarecrow who needs a brain, a sweet Tin Man searching for a heart, and a silly Cowardly Lion who just wants to be brave. With surprises around every corner, this enchanting stage show is a treat for the whole family—whether you’re 5 or 105. Come see why there’s truly no place like home! This production is based on the original story The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum. (Ticket prices include £1.50 Theatre Maintenance Levy)

Santa’s Christmas Workshop

Come and visit Santa’s Workshop, where Santa and his hard-working elves are busily getting ready for The Big Day! Our elves will welcome you to their Magical Interactive Christmas Show! Full of festive mishaps, music and plenty of holiday cheer. After the show, Miss Christmas will take you to the Elves workshop, where you will be able to make a Christmas decoration that you can take home and write your letter to Santa. Next, you will be invited to meet Father Christmas himself, in the grotto. His helpful elves can then take your photo with your own phone or camera and receive a special Christmas gift! Lastly, you can make your own way to our Christmas Kitchen where you’ll be able to buy gingerbread and a hot cocoa. The experience will last approximately 45-60 minutes.
