Claybury Woods and Park
Claybury Woods and Park holds a Green Flag Award and contains an ancient area of oak and hornbeam woodland, locally renowned for its variety of woodland spring flowers, including bluebells, veteran trees and fungi.
The park is made up of extensive meadows, wildlife ponds, wetland areas, managed scrub land and many ancient/veteran trees.

Wanstead Flats (open forest landscape)
Wanstead Flats is the vast, rugged southernmost tip of Epping Forest in East London.
It's a large area of open grassland in the south of the forest, perfect for sports, picnics and enjoying nature.
Aldborough Hall Nature Reserve
Aldborough Hall Nature Reserve is a 39 hectare safe haven for wildlife. Visitors can enter the site via Aldborough Road just past St. Peter’s Church. The site has designated paths and observation areas, perfect for visitors to enjoy nature or take a leisurely stroll.
