Friday 27 February 2026 The East London Borough Council's have received the Inspector's Preliminary Letter (examination doc. ID01 (PDF 152KB)).

Monday 16 February 2026 In accordance with section 20(4) of the Planning and Compulsory Purchase Act 2004 the Planning Inspectorate has appointed G J Fort, BA PGDip LLM MCD MRTPI, and T Davis, BA (Hons) MA MRTPI, to hold an independent examination of the East London Joint Waste Plan.

Friday 30 January 2026 The East London Borough Councils have submitted the East London Joint Waste Plan Regulation 19 Submission Plan (PDF 2426KB) to the Secretary of State for examination, along with supporting documents.
