When is offer day  

All schools in England send their offers on the same day. Your offer is based on the address you used to apply.

Secondary school and Year 7 (September 2027) 

Offers were sent on the evening of Monday 1 March 2027. Please see more information about applying to start secondary school

Primary or junior school (September 2027) 

Offers on the evening of Friday 16 April 2027. 

Getting an offer 

You’ll get an email on the evening of the offer day. This will be the highest‑ranked school on your list that can offer a place. 

If you have been offered your first choice of school, then all your other choices are removed from your application. 

Any schools you ranked lower will be removed. 

Your child will stay on the waiting lists for any schools you ranked higher.

Accept your offer 

You must accept your offer by Friday 12 March for secondary schools.

You must accept your offer by Friday 30 April for primary schools. 

If you do not accept it within two weeks of getting your offer, it will expire and could be offered to another child. 

If your child is not offered a preferred school, they’ll remain on the waiting list for those schools. The waiting list goes live on Monday 11 May for primary schools.

To accept your offer:  

  1. sign into your eAdmissions account. This is the same one you used to apply.
  2. scroll down to ‘View outcome of application and respond’ 
  3. select ‘Accept the offer’

Change your school choices  

You should change your school choices by Friday 12 March for secondary schools and Friday 30 April for primary schools.

If you want to change your school choices, you need to email the Admissions Team as soon as you can. Email admissions@redbridge.gov.uk  

 You need to include:  

  • your child’s full name
  • your Application Reference Number. This is at the top of the email
  • the new list of school, in the order you prefer 

Appeal your offer 

You should accept your offer in case your appeal is not successful. Accepting the offer will not affect your appeal or any waiting list decisions.

 

You need to appeal as soon as you can. The deadline for appeals is Friday 14 May 2027 for primary schools.
