Street parties

In accordance with the Government guidelines and proposals to ease the Coronavirus restrictions, we have taken the decision to accept applications for street parties for dates after Monday 21 June 2021.

Please submit your application within the deadlines and download the signatory form which is within the application form for residents approvals. The guidelines that Government may impose or recommend at the time should be adhered to for your street party.

Any approval for a street party may be withdrawn if restricted by regulations on the date proposed.

For street parties, we close off a road in order for residents to celebrate an event or have a community get together.

If you would like to host a street party you must complete an application form.  However, you must meet the following criteria:

  • your street party must be on a road that is not a major traffic route or a bus route,  if you are unsure, please get in touch
  • you must get your application to us by the following deadlines
