Design Review Panel

A Design Review Panel (DRP) provides independent, expert advice on the design quality of development proposals. During the pre‑application process, applicants are strongly encouraged to engage with a DRP to guide schemes and address key design issues early. The panel also comments on selected planning applications.

A DRP is made up of independent and experienced professionals who work across the built environment sector. This panel is run by Frame Projects. 

A DRP is funded independently of the council. Fees are paid directly to the panel provider.

Cost of meetings are as follows:

• Full review £5,700 + VAT in person

£4,625 + VAT online

• Chair’s review £3,250 + VAT in person

£2,800 + VAT online

• Surgery review £1,875 + VAT online
