Visitors parking permits
We're launching a new online service for parking permits.
There will be some changes when the system goes live. When you need to apply for a permit, you'll need to do this as a new application. This means even if you have applied for permit previously, you'll need to apply again and submit all your documents.
You don’t need to do anything until your permit expires or you have a change of circumstance such as a change of address, change of vehicle or you need to cancel your permit.
A visitors parking permit can be used by friends, relatives, health visitors or tradespeople who are visiting you.
Each permit is valid for one day. They are only valid for use by visitors visiting residents in the zone. Any fraudulent use of these permits can lead to cancellation of the permit and prosecution.
Visitors permits are sold in books of 10 daily permits. Each book costs £16.50. A maximum of 5 books may be purchased in any one rolling month.
You should receive your permit through the post within 10 working days from the date we receive your application.
