Bay suspensions and yellow line dispensations

Reserving parking space(s) on a parking restriction can be achieved either by obtaining a bay suspension or yellow line dispensation.  These waivers offer different parking solutions on restricted parking areas as detailed below.

Bay suspension

Bay suspensions allow the applicant to park their vehicle(s) on the following restrictions;

  • Resident bays
  • Business bays
  • Pay and display bays

The cost for a bay suspension is £49.50 per car space (5 meters) per day and will be subject to an administration fee of £49.50.

To apply for a bay suspension, please complete the bay suspension application form (PDF 534KB) and email it to parkingandtrafficenforcement@redbridge.gov.uk

You must ensure you leave enough time to apply as a minimum of seven days notice is required to process applications.

Please ensure that you have completed all sections of the application form including your contact number, we will need this to take a credit/debit card payment, alternatively, if you are by paying by cheque/postal order the full postal address of where this needs to be sent can be found on the application form.

Yellow line dispensations

Yellow line dispensations allow the applicant to park their vehicle(s) on a single yellow line restriction. Please note we are unable to offer dispensations on double yellow lines or where there is a loading ban enforced.
