News on the development of the Western Gateway and Mercato, tackling crime, work to help rough sleepers get off the streets and what we are doing to make Redbridge cleaner and greener are just some of the topics to be discussed at the next online local forum meeting for residents in the south of the borough.
The event starts at 7pm on Wednesday 10 November and residents who live or work in Cranbrook, Valentines, Ilford Town, Clementswood and Loxford areas are invited to discuss any issues or concerns they may have.
Leader of Redbridge Council, Cllr Jas Athwal, will open the event with a presentation on what’s happening locally and take questions from the audience.
Topics to be discussed include:
- News on development in the South of the Borough, including the Western Gateway and Mercato
- Employment
- Tackling Crime, including an update on work on York Road and the new Community Enforcement Hub
- Work to create a Cleaner Greener Borough
- Work to help local rough sleepers
