New website offers Support and help for adults
Published: 6 March 2023
Our new website, Support and help for adults, provides social care support and help to Redbridge residents.
We aim to help you and the people you care for stay active, healthy, and independent in your home for as long as possible.
Many people find getting adult social care and support daunting. This site makes it simple, clear, and easy to understand. Redbridge Council has built this website with the support of service users who have told us how they would like it to look and function.
Our website provides up-to-date information and advice so that you can make your own choices about care to decide what works best for you. Find accessible information, plus a community directory with over 400 local and national organisations and services offering advice on health, well-being, social activities, and more.
Visit our website for advice on the following:
- Support you can get for your needs
- Services and equipment that could help you live at home for longer
- Whether you are eligible for financial support from Redbridge Council
- How to ask for care and Support
If you are an older person, a carer, have a physical or learning disability, a sensory impairment, or mental health needs, the website will be able to signpost you and give you advice.
