Get involved! Join our local forum for south borough residents, to discuss the issues that really matter to you

Published: 22 June 2021

Town centre regeneration, help to get into employment, tackling crime and what we are doing to make Redbridge cleaner and greener are just some of the topics to be discussed at the next online local forum meeting for residents in the south of the borough.

Residents who live or work in Cranbrook, Valentines, Ilford Town, Clementswood and Loxford areas are invited to discuss any issues or concerns they may have.

Leader of Redbridge Council, Cllr Jas Athwal, will open the event with a presentation on what’s happening locally and take questions from the audience.

This online local forum for south borough residents is on Wednesday 23 June starting at 7 pm and will feature information on:

  • Employment
  • Tackling Crime, including work we are doing around women’s safety, Public Space Protection Orders (PSPO) and the new Community Crime Commission
  • Town Centre Regeneration, including New Green Market and Mercato
  • Tree Planting
  • Wheelie Bins
  • Climate Change Action Plan
