The Ashton playing fields, Wanstead pool and tackling crime are just some of the topics which will be discussed at the next online Local Forum meeting for residents living or working in the north of the borough.

Residents who live or work in Monkhams, Bridge, Churchfields, South Woodford, Wanstead Village and Wanstead Park areas are invited to discuss any issues or concerns they may have.

Leader of Redbridge, Cllr Jas Athwal, who will open the event with a presentation on what’s happening locally, will also take questions from the audience.

This online Local Forum for west borough residents takes place on Wednesday 28 July, and begins at 7 pm and will feature information on:

  • Employment
  • Tackling Crime including updates on the new Crime Commission and Women’s Safety
  • Ashton playing fields
  • Wanstead Pool
  • Woodford Library Renovations
  • Cleaner Greener Borough including the launch of the Council’s Climate Change Action Plan and wheelie bins

Residents will have the opportunity to take part in a live Q&A session with the Leader of the council and raise any concerns or issues they may have.
