Update on bin collections on Eastern Avenue – new dates

Following an incident which involved a collision with a refuse vehicle on Eastern Avenue, we have reviewed how we collect rubbish in the area, to ensure the safety of all our staff.
We apologise for the inconvenience as we had to temporarily pause collections from Eastern Avenue.
To catch this up, we will be collecting all rubbish along Eastern Avenue, this Saturday, 13 January.
Rather than collecting from this street across two days as usual, we will then move to collecting on a Monday from the whole of Eastern Avenue.
The safety of our team members is paramount and we thank you for your patience while we have taken additional measures to protect them.
Which properties are affected?
This affects properties westbound from Somerville Road to Redbridge roundabout/A406 junction and eastbound from Redbridge roundabout/A406 junction to Bawdsey Avenue.
