Residents invited to attend East Forum - Monday, 17 January

Published: 15 January 2022

Exciting plans for the Seven Kings Community Hub, increased CCTV and employment opportunities are just a taste of the many issues to be discussed and debated at the next East Forum.

The virtual event starts at 7pm on Monday, 17 January. The Leader of Redbridge Council, Cllr Jas Athwal, will lead the session.

Residents who live or work in Chadwell, Seven Kings, Newbury, Goodmayes and Mayfield wards will have the opportunity to discuss any local issues or concerns they have and participate in a live Q&A session with the Leader.

Cllr Jas Athwal will open the event with a presentation on what's happening locally and take questions from the online audience.

The East Forum will feature information on:

  • Seven Kings Community Hub update
  • Parks: Seven Kings, Goodmayes and South Park & Green Flag status
  • Increased CCTV in the East of the borough
  • Employment opportunities
  • Work to create a cleaner, greener borough
