Redbridge Students celebrate outstanding 2026 A Level success

There were big smiles across Redbridge as students collected their 2026 A‑Level results, marking the end of years of hard work, determination and support from families, teachers and school staff.

Redbridge Council has congratulated students, teachers, support staff and parents for another year of fantastic achievements across the borough.

To celebrate results day, Cllr Lloyd Duddridge, Cabinet Member for Children, Young People and Education, visited Valentines High School, joining students as they opened their envelopes and shared stories of perseverance, ambition and well‑earned success.

Cllr Duddridge said: “Huge congratulations to students across Redbridge. You’ve worked incredibly hard and should feel immensely proud. It’s wonderful to see so many happy faces receiving their results.

“In Redbridge we take enormous pride in academic excellence, but also in the effort and bravery it takes to sit exams. I’ve met some inspiring young people who have overcome huge disadvantages to achieve fantastic grades, and they now have exciting futures ahead of them.

“I’m especially pleased to hear about the school’s fantastic results in philosophy, my old subject, and to see young people receiving their grades with confidence and excitement for the future. And for anyone who didn’t get the grades they were hoping for, please know that support is available and there are many routes to success — you’re not alone.”
