Become an apprentice

Apprenticeships are an excellent way of gaining qualifications and workplace experience. You can earn as you learn and gain practical skills in the workplace. There are lots of different types of apprenticeship from agriculture to business administration to retail and customer service.

Apprenticeships are open to:

  • Anyone over the age of 16
  • Whether you are just leaving school
  • Have been working for years or are looking to retrain for a new career

Apprenticeships with Redbridge Council

Our apprenticeship programme is designed to create quality job opportunities for Redbridge residents across council departments from accountancy to engineering.

All of our programmes last at least 12 months and combine work, training and study. As an apprentice with us, you will receive a competitive salary, holiday entitlement and a benefits package. We are committed to employing over 50 apprentices each year.
