Residents' Conference 2019

The Residents' Conference for Council tenants and leaseholders was held on Saturday 30 March 2019 at City Gates Church, Ilford, IG1 BY from 10am to 2pm.  We were delighted that so many residents attended and it was a great opportunity for us to meet and speak to residents. Topics included fire safety,  information on housing services, community hubs and a question and answer session.  There were also a number of information stands including Morrison FS, the London Fire Brigade and the Ilford Town Safer Neighbourhood team.  We would like to thank all residents who attended making it a very enjoyable event.

Councillor Farah Hussain, Cabinet Member for Housing and Homelessness, spoke at the Conference and presented an award to two remarkable Council residents, Mrs Barbara Newman and Fazer Mossman, for their outstanding achievements.
