Community Voice

Community Voice

Redbridge Council is looking for residents to have their say and become part of our Community Voice. This is a chance for you to get involved and make your neighbourhood a better place to live.

The Community Voice will be consulted on issues that affect residents. It will look at how to improve services with the panel able to provide suggestions on a range of issues that most affect your neighbourhoods.

We may ask for your views on things such as anti-social behaviour, how to reduce burglary, the Our Street initiative, how to improve council customer services, reducing domestic abuse and, on-street violence.

Each member of the Community Voice will receive £100 worth of vouchers over a year and needs to be available for a minimum of two hours per month.  Meetings are set to take place remotely but this may change as lockdown restrictions are relaxed.

If you want to be involved, please apply by following the below link and filling in our application form.  We want the panel to be as representative of the borough as possible and seek to ensure all communities and age groups are heard.

Update on Application Process:

Applications have now closed. Thank you to those who have applied to join either the Community Voice or Community Crime Commission (CCC).

Due to the number of applications we have received, we have extended our deadline, by which we will notify you of the outcome of your application, to Friday 4th June. This will give us enough time to go through them all and make a decision.

If you have any other questions regarding either the Community Crime Commission or the Community Voice then please email Communityvoice@redbridge.gov.uk and we will get back to you as soon as possible.
