Refurbishment of tennis courts

Redbridge is set to modernise tennis courts at 10 parks across the borough as part of improving parks and other health and well-being facilities thanks to significant funding from the Lawn Tennis Association.

Nearly all tennis courts have been refurbished and will open to the public this summer. The entrance gates have been installed, and the online court booking system will launch shortly.

As part of plans to make sure everyone has the opportunity to try out tennis, once the courts are open, we’ll be organising weekly free park tennis sessions for all ages, playing levels and experience, where equipment will be provided. Local tennis leagues will also provide friendly, sociable opportunities to get active through local competitions.
