Redbridge Recreation Ground is known for its vast variety of wild flowers and newly planted arboretum, providing a scenic natural environment. Framed by an expanse of naturalised spring bulbs in the north of the ground we have with many trees of interest. The southern end of the ground provides areas for informal sport and also contains play equipment for children of all ages and abilities with a spider web climbing frame, roundabout, swings and floor markings for games like hop-scotch. Situated at the top of Keswick Gardens, this park is also accessible from Roding Lane.

The Roding Valley Park extends from Redbridge Roundabout in the south to the Borough boundary in the north. The River Roding, which flows through the park, is a lowland clay river and provides an ideal setting for a number of recreational activities as well as walking and cycling. Along the river you will find plenty of ducks, herons, dragonflies, butterflies, and many different species of flowers. There are also a number of small areas of woodland for you to explore.

The skate park in the southern end of the park is very popular among children and young adults. There is also a children’s play area on site that is very popular at weekends with families.
