Borrow books, search the e-library and enjoy a range of free and affordable activities for all ages at one of our libraries in Redbridge.
Libraries are welcoming spaces where children can learn new skills, explore their interests and connect with others.
This summer, children can also take part in the Fabula Reading Challenge encouraging young readers to discover books they love and build a lifelong enjoyment of reading. Everyone who completes the challenge receives a certificate and medal with the chance to enter a prize draw.

Did you know there’s a Little Free Library on Ilford Lane?
It’s one of the 90 Penguin Book Stops that is helping bring free books into the heart of the community.
The library provides a valuable space for local families and young people who value reading and education.
It's run by the Friends of Loxford Community Group, Literature on the Lane Book Club, and the Ilford Lane Engagement Hub,
Redbridge Holiday and Food Programme
This summer, Redbridge’s Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme is back with a fantastic mix of popular favourites and exciting new activities.
Sessions will be available from Monday 27 July to Thursday 20 August for eligible children.
