What are the Engagement Hubs?

The Engagement Hubs have been set up to bring essential council services into the local community so you can access the support you need right on your doorstep.

You will be able to access a range of services including: 

  • information for parents and families
  • advice for young people with special educational needs and disabilities and their parents and carers
  • discuss concerns and issues to the Metropolitan Police

Redbridge Engagement Hubs are open for anyone to visit.

 

Where are the Engagement Hubs?

  • Ilford Engagement Hub at Jubilee Gardens, Ilford Lane, IG1 2HX
  • Hainault Engagement Hub at Hainault Library, Manford Way, IG7 4DD 
  • Gants Hill Engagement Hub at Redbridge Institute, Gaysham Ave, IG2 6TD

To speak with a Customer Service Advisor face to face, please visit the Ilford Engagement Hub on Friday mornings.

Drop-ins are available, however we recommend that you book an appointment

 

Ilford Engagement Hub timetable

The Ilford Engagement Hub on Ilford Lane runs throughout the week.

Loxford Ward Councillor surgeries held every second Saturday of the month.

Please ensure you check the timetable regularly to keep up to date.

Families Services Directory 

Your first stop for services, support and information for families with children aged 0 to 19 in Redbridge (up to 25 years for adults with SEND). Drop in, no need to book. 
Monday  12pm-1pm  Helping Hopes Foodbank  Free fresh groceries to those most in need.   Priority is given to those referred. You can drop in but it's subject to demand.
Tuesday  10am-1pm Redbridge Quits Smoking   Want to give up smoking? Free support for anyone living or working in Redbridge, aged 12 and above  Drop in, no need to book.
Tuesday  10am-12pm Adult Social Services   Connecting socially isolated people and Adult Social Service support   Drop in, no need to book.
Wednesday  12pm-2pm Community Action Redbridge - Healthy Communities  Community support to improve health and wellbeing. Connecting people to local groups, partners, and activities  Drop in, no need to book. 
Thursday  9am-4pm Cranstoun  Support Services  Appointment only.
Friday 4pm to 6pm Metropolitan Police Speak to your local Safer Neighbourhoods Team to discuss your concerns.  Drop in, no need to book. 
Saturday  3pm-4pm Councillor Surgery  Speak to your Loxford Ward Councillors to discuss concerns and local issues. Drop in, no need to book. 

 

Hainault Engagement Hub timetable

The Engagement Hub in Hainault Library is open every Tuesday from 10am to 2pm.

Please check the timetable for specific times for the services you need.

Gants Hill Engagement Hub timetable

The Gants Hill Engagement Hub is located at Redbridge Institute of Adult Education. It can be accessed via the car park entrance, through the gate nearest to the cabins. 

Please note that school streets car restrictions are in operation between the hours of 8am to 10.30am and 2.30pm to 4pm on Waremead Road, Gants Hill Crescent and Sunnymede Drive. 

During these times,  Redbridge Institute can be accessed by car from Cranbrook Road A123, leading into Gaysham Avenue.

Monday  11am-2pm A VIA Quit Smoking Free support for those who want to give up smoking. Drop-in, or book an appointment with the VIA team.
Wednesday  9am-4pm B Redbridge Family Information Service (FiND) and Redbridge Information Advice and Support Service   Free and impartial advice for families, parents, carers and children.  Access to support for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and their parents or carers in Redbridge.  Drop in, no need to book.
Friday  9am-5pm

Black Women's Kindness Initiative 

Wellbeing Hub

A rolling programme of  groups,activities and services for Black and Minority ethnic women in Redbridge. A hollistic approach to health and wellbeing for women of all ages.  Drop in, no need to book.
