Expanded Retail has been extended into 2022/23
The Expanded Retail Discount will continue to apply at the reduced amount of 50% for the 12 months, provided you are in an eligible property and will not exceed the cash cap.
The liable party must comply with the cash cap, of £110,000 the liable party together with any other companies in the same Group shall not receive more than £110,000 of the Retail, Hospitality and Leisure Relief Scheme for eligible properties within 2022/23 and shall not receive more than £343,000 in total of Small Amounts of Financial Assistance over three years (including 2022/23). Eligible businesses have been automatically been awarded, the relief and do not need to take any action unless you wish to refuse the relief.
Payments
The easiest way to make payments and to keep you account up to date is to pay by direct debit and Redbridge currently offer 6 different direct debit dates of 1st; 5th; 10th; 15th; 20th and 25th of the month.

Debits
Changes made by the Government only come into effect from April 2021. If you have an outstanding balance from a previous year, please make payment immediately. Details of how to pay are shown on the back of the bill.

If you have credit carried forward, you can claim that credit back. We will refund your credit by BAC’s,
Please email a copy of your bank statement, which clearly shows the sort code, account number and name on the account to business.rates@redbridge.gov.uk. We will aim to refund your credit within 21 days, providing all information is received.
