We are delighted to report a positive result for the Hainault Business Park Business Improvement District (BID) renewal ballot which was held from 30 October 2025 to 27 November 2025. 

The Declaration of the results is below:

I hereby declare that the proposal to establish a Business Improvement District (BID) in Hainault Business Park Renewal is Approved.  

A majority of the business ratepayers in the proposed BID area who voted, voted in favour of the proposal, both by numbers voting and aggregate rateable value. 
 
The reason and total of ballot papers rejected was as follows:

About Hainault Business Park BID

The BID works on behalf of businesses based on the Business Park, helping to maintain a safe and secure environment for businesses to thrive.

Hainault BID is the second Business Improvement District in the borough, achieving BID status in 2006 and capturing around 200 businesses in an industrial area, ranging from large international companies through to smaller businesses.  As a successful BID Company, for the last 15 years the BID has provided extensive improvements and enhancements. The business park has become a safer working environment for business owners, employees and visitors.

Based upon the result of the qualitative and quantitative consultation exercises, spend over the next five years will fall into four main areas:

  • Maintaining a safe and secure business park as a top priority
  • To continue the professional management of the business park and maintain its high occupancy rate
  • To continue promoting the business park and its businesses
