Order a copy certificate

From Saturday 16 February 2019 the statutory fee for copy certificates are £11 per certificate for a standard service and £35 per certificate for a priority service.

Copies of certificates for births, deaths, marriages and civil partnerships that have taken place in Redbridge are available to order. 

Certificates can be ordered online and in person at Redbridge Register Office, Town Hall, Ilford, IG1 1DD between Monday and Friday 9am to 3pm.

 

Standard and Priority service

Standard service applications

The easiest way to order a certificate is through our online ordering system. You will need a credit or debit card to make the payment online. 

The fee for this service is £11 per certificate. 

Certificate requests received by 3pm are processed within 15 working days.

Certificates can be collected in person at the Register Office or can be posted by Royal Mail second class post. If it is lost in the post, you will need to re-apply and pay again.

Priority service applications

This service is for applications placed in person at the Register Office.

The fee for this service is £35 per certificate.

Certificate requests received by 3pm are processed within 24 hours.

Certificates can be collected in person at the Register Office or can be posted by Royal Mail first class post. If it is lost in the post, you will need to re-apply and pay again.
