Household support fund
The Household Support Fund is currently closed for applications. It'll re-open in due course.
The next round of the Household Support Fund will focus on providing you with practical support through council services and organisations in the community. Cash grants will only be given in special conditions.
Your application will be carefully considered on an individual basis. We’ll look at your personal, household and financial situation.
What is the Household Support Fund?
You may be able to get help from us with essential costs. This is known as the Household Support Fund.
The fund is provided by the government.
We use this fund to support you if you’re struggling to afford things like:
- energy and water bills
- food
- essential items
