About Policy Development Committees

There are six Policy Development Committees (PDC), which will enable elected members to have effective policy development input on issues that are aligned to the Corporate Plan, using evidence, data and discursive investigation.

This PDC focusses on addressing relative issues in the Council's Corporate Plan key issues, including  mental health, giving a greater voice to children and young people and initiatives to achieve UNICEF Child Friendly borough status by 2025.
