Redbridge set for another magical Christmas with showstopping December

Christmas 2025 in Redbridge is set to be yet another festive bonanza, with Jack and the Beanstalk and The Wizard of Oz stage shows in Woodford, Hainault and Ilford; Santa's Christmas workshop in Woodford; Christmas craft sessions in libraries across Redbridge, five Christmas lights switch on events in town centres borough-wide, and festive cheer being spread everywhere from Valentines Mansion to Hainault Forest, even to Owls Play Centre at Fairlop Waters!

Councillor Kam Rai, Leader of Redbridge Council said, "We are getting a reputation in Redbridge for being the place for families to come to enjoy Christmas festivities and celebrate together. We have brought out the decs, the music, the stage shows and food, and are bringing them right across the borough, so that everyone can come together and celebrate with family and friends near to where they live.

"With five town centres, 11 libraries, Valentines Mansion, Redbridge drama centre and our forest and parks all included, most at very little or no cost, people in Redbridge have real choice in how and where they celebrate the festive season. At the end of the year, when it's chilly and dark outside we hope to put an extra smile on the face of people of all ages as they enjoy counting down to lights switching on, laughing at a fun pop-up panto, or creating a wreath or other decorations for their homes. There's so much to do this December in Redbridge, so do get out and enjoy it if you're celebrating this year."
