Special Sunday – Victorian Gardeners Organised by the Friends of Valentines Mansion

As part of this Special Sunday, garden historian Francesca Murray will be delving into the life and legacy of William Earley (1835-1911)—a celebrated writer on gardens and an expert in growing fruits and vegetables. Earley served as head gardener at Valentine’s during the ownership of Sarah and Clement Ingleby, shaping what we now know as Valentine’s Park. Francesca will be hosting two free talks at 12:15 pm and 3:00 pm. Booking is advised to secure your place. The trails and floristry workshops are family friendly, while the talk is best suited for adults. All donations are welcome!
