Ilford is set to burst into colour this summer with the launch of its first ever Mural Art Festival - inColour, a spectacular two-day event taking place on 16th and 17th August, 2025. This festival is part of the countdown to Ilford's 100-year anniversary on 26th January 2026, brining together artists, performers, and the local community in a vibrant celebration of art, culture, and creativity.
Taking place across four key locations - Cranbrook Road (Exchange Ilford Entrance), Station Road (Bodgers Building), High Road (Redbridge Town Hall), and SPACE Ilford (Clements Road Entrance).
The festival will feature 12 artists creating large-scale murals live from 12pm to 5pm.
Visitors can enjoy many activities: face painting & interactive art; fair rides & family attractions; music & DJ performances; crazy gold experience; market stalls & local vendors; and live wrestling shows.
