The following roles will receive a recruitment and retention payment:

Qualified Approved Mental Health Practitioners will also receive an allowance of £3000 per annum.  This is in recognition of the requirement to study for a qualification at Masters Level and the additional responsibility they hold in relation to the Mental Health Act, and is dependent on practicing on the AMHP rota.

Best Interest Assessors will receive an allowance of £2000 per annum.  They will qualify for this payment if they obtain accreditation and do at least nine assessments per year.  If an AMHP also acts as a BIA they will not receive both allowances.
