Teen Redbridge

Youth Advisory Board

We're encouraging young people to have a say in how libraries are run. You will be involved in stock selection and event planning and delivery. This is a great opportunity and will be valuable experience to add to your CV. If you are aged between 14 and 18 and want to be involved please email library.information@visionrcl.org.uk

Recommended reading for wellbeing

Reading Well for young people is a national scheme which now provides 13 to 18 years old with high-quality information, support and advice on a wide-range of mental health issues.

Reading Well can help you cope with the pressures of life, feel better about yourself and boost your confidence by using books.

A recommended reading list of 35 books has been selected by mental health experts and young people to help you with difficult feelings and experiences that can affect your wellbeing. The books have information and advice as well as personal stories about dealing with feelings such as anxiety, depression or stress.

Find Shelf Help books in your library - they're free to borrow.
