Help tackle antibiotic resistance

Published: 13 November 2017

It's World Antibiotic Awareness Week on Monday 13 – Sunday 19 November and European Antibiotic Awareness Day on Saturday 18 November EAAD.

Residents take your Doctor’s advice by not demanding antibiotics to help tackle and reduce antibiotic resistance.

Antibiotic resistance is one of the biggest threats facing us today and the overuse or misuse of antibiotics is making the problem worse. Without antibiotics we will not be able to carry out surgeries, cancer treatment or treat infections as we currently know it.

Sign up as an Antibiotic Guardian and choose one simple pledge about how you’ll make better use of antibiotics to help save vital medicines from becoming obsolete. Visit the website Antibiotic Guardian

This is a campaign run by Redbridge Council in partnership with Public Health England and the local CCGs.
