Seven Kings Library reopened following leak

Published: 7 August 2018

Seven Kings Library has re-opened following essential repairs to fix damage caused by heavy rain last week.

The branch closed on Tuesday 31 July for two days for repairs to a leaking roof after the storm.  The library opened with a full service just two days later on Thursday 2 August with all services running as usual.

Cllr Athwal, Leader of the Council, said, "We recognise that there will be residents who would have missed out on their activities on Tuesday and Wednesday due to this short closure of Seven Kings Library and we apologies for any inconvenience that it may have caused.  We are working with the landlord to ensure the necessary repairs are complete so that this issue is avoided in the future and we encourage all residents to visit their local library to take part in the great programmes on offer for the whole family.”
