Residents Survey 2021

Redbridge Council have commissioned BMG Research to carry out a Residents Survey that will run from Wednesday 27 October 2021 to Sunday 28 November 2021.

In the survey you will be able to tell us your views on what you think about your local area, the services which the Council provide and what you would like to see in the future.

The feedback will help the Council to prioritise activity that will help everyone in the local area. Please take part and let us know what you think so that we can help improve our services.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs):

Redbridge Council is looking to get feedback about what residents think about the services they provide. In order to do this, the Council have commissioned BMG Research to carry out a resident’s survey across the borough. The findings will help Redbridge Council to prioritise activity that will help everyone in the area.Text

Redbridge Council have appointed an independent company, BMG Research, to carry out the survey on their behalf.

BMG interviewers will approach residents in their homes and ask if they are available to complete the resident survey which takes around 15 minutes to complete. The survey can be undertaken with anyone residing in the property who is aged 18+ although we will be looking to get a mix of demographics.

After the resident survey has been completed, the resident will be asked if there are any young residents in the household aged between 11 and 17 years old. If there are young people in the household, they will be asked to complete the young people survey which aims to record their opinion on the services provided by the Council. This survey is 5 minutes long.
For those aged under 13 years old, parental permission will be sought before going ahead with the survey.

The survey will run from Wednesday 27 October 2021 to Sunday 28 November 2021.

For the survey, the residents being contacted have been selected at random across Redbridge. This ensures the responses we receive are representative of the borough. Addresses have been selected at random across the borough using the Postcode Address File.

The survey is voluntary, so no one is obliged to take part. However, residents are encouraged to complete the survey as the responses from the survey will help the Council to prioritise activity that will help everyone in the area.

The responses to the survey will remain confidential and secure. Responses will be collated and reported back to Redbridge Council and individuals’ views will not be identified to Redbridge Council.

BMG Research are an independent research company and have been chosen by the London Borough of Redbridge to run this survey. BMG will run the surveys and provide confidential results.
