Support for unpaid carers

We want to make sure we continue to meet the needs of our residents and carers who are in need of critical support by social services and are a priority considering the increased demands.

Charges waived

As an unpaid carer, you will not need to pay carers charges.

Charges for carers have been waived as we recognise how much more unpaid carers are doing at the moment to make sure their families are safely cared for.

You can read our latest press release on this.

Free Personal Protective Equipment

If you provide personal care for a friend or family member you are now eligible for free personal protective equipment (PPE). If you are caring for somebody, particularly if they are not in your household, you might want to consider using PPE to protect yourself and the person you are caring for.

To order your PPE please visit the CarePlace website and fill out the online application form.
