Child Friendly businesses

Local businesses are a part of our community and have an important role in helping make Redbridge a Child Friendly borough. Redbridge is a young borough, with 33% of the population under the age of 25, so it makes sense for businesses to engage with young people in positive ways.

Get involved

Your business' involvement is really valuable to making Redbridge a Child Friendly borough. There are many ways you can get involved.

Young People Friendly

Our Young People Friendly training is made available to pharmacies and other health care settings that offer services to young people. We are currently developing a toolkit which will be available to all businesses in the borough.

Partners’ Programme

We are open to partnering with businesses to develop ways in which we can improve the opportunities, outcomes and experience of children and young people in Redbridge.

Get in touch with us at CFR@redbridge.gov.uk if you would like to know more about partner status.

Corporate Social Responsibility

If your business is looking to invest employees time, funding or gifts in-kind as part of your Corporate Social Responsibility, then a great way to do this is by working with us to benefit the children and young people in Redbridge.

Our engagement aims to get to the heart of what really matters to children and young people. This information will empower us to identify with children and young people those actions that could make the biggest differences where it really matters.  This means that what you contribute could make a difference to a generation and create a lasting legacy.
