Providing information by email
Because of social distancing measures, we are asking for supporting evidence to be provided by email.
Email details
- Send to: housing.benefits@redbridge.gov.uk
- Your name and case reference should be the subject of the email.
Attaching your evidence
If you have your documents on email
- Access your email account
- Open the email message with your documents that you want to forward
- In the menu bar, usually found at the top of your email message window, select the forward option
- When the new email message window opens, enter housing.benefits@redbridge.gov.uk in the To: field.
- In the subject: field, replace the contents with your name and case reference
- Press send

If your documents are on paper
- Take a clear, well-lit photo of your document on your phone
- Go to your photo gallery on your phone and select the photo of your evidence
- When viewing the picture, tap the share icon (this is usually at the bottom of your phone screen)
- Select your mail app
- When the email message opens, enter housing.benefits@redbridge.gov.uk in the To: field.
- In the subject: field, replace the contents with your name and case reference
- Press send
