However old you are, however long you’ve been
driving, however good a driver you think you are, there’s always
something more for drivers to learn.
It is said that there’s no such thing as a
perfect driver and that good drivers never stop learning.
Most people pass their “L” test and think no
more about their driving, they just get in their cars and drive and
over time bad habits become the norm. When was the last time
you looked at the Highway Code? Are you really as safe a
driver as you imagine? Think about how you feel when being
driven by other people, do you always feel safe? Do your
passengers really feel safe with you at the wheel?
Would you like to improve the standard of your
driving to try and ensure that every journey you take is as safe
and enjoyable as you can make it?
Have you ever thought about taking an Advanced
Driving test or would you like to find out more about Advanced
Driving?
Probably the best way to go about it is to
join a local Advanced Drivers’ Group and train for the Advanced
Driving test through them.
The two main Advanced Driving groups are the
Institute of Advanced Motorists
(I.A.M.) and the Royal Society
for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) or you can
contact local Advanced Drivers
groups.
