You can apply to the Council for a footway crossing.

On receipt of the completed application form, an Inspector will visit the site to carry out an assessment of the suitability of the proposed crossing site. Once approved, a letter will be sent informing you of the costs involved.

However, we should make you aware that due to current resource difficulties there is likely to be a lengthy delay in the construction of the proposed crossing after you have received the approval.
