The Redbridge i interactive map allows you to view
an online map of your local area and surrounding
districts.
You can also watch our help video to see for yourself how to
use the interactive map. Warning - this is a large file and may
take several minutes to download. If you prefer, the help
video has been split into four smaller parts:
- Introduction to the map
- Changing the map view
- Searching the map
- Displaying map layers
If you are a registered, logged in user, the house icon
represents your location.
You can quickly move around the map by dragging with your
mouse.
Alternatively you can use the Pan up, Pan down, Pan left and Pan
right buttons located in the top left corner of the map.
You can also use the slider or the Zoom in and Zoom out buttons
to alter the scale of the map.
Satellite and Hybrid views
If you like, you can also access a satellite image of the viewed
location. You can zoom in on this image for a closer look at the
terrain, zoom out for a broader perspective, or pan in any
direction.
If you simply can't decide between viewing maps or satellite
imagery, you can choose the hybrid view, which superimposes map
data, including streets, street names, and landmarks, over the
satellite images.
To access these views, click the Satellite or Hybrid
buttons in the top right corner of the map. Click the Map
button to return to the normal map only view.
