Redbridge Council, as the Administering Authority (AA), delivers the programme to ensure Supporting People is able to meet its vision and aims; it is managed on a day-to-day basis through the Supporting People Team.

The Supporting People Team is required to report regularly on its progress to internal and external bodies. The Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG), the Council Cabinet, and the Health and Social Care Advisory Committee are external. The Commissioning Body (CB) and the Programme Management Group (PMG) are internal groups which meet regularly.
