The Local Safeguarding Children Board ( LSCB ) Training Programme 2006 – 2009 is now well established and provides courses which focus on multi-agency training which compliments that available within individual agencies.  It focuses on the wider remit of the LSCB of co-ordinating activities relating to safeguarding, which continues to ensure that child protection receives high priority.

The Programme is well utilised by a multi-agency arena with take up from:

E-LearningComputer Mouse

A contract for e-Learning began with Virtual College on 2 January 2008 for the provision of a Safeguarding Module. e-Learning is part of a blended learning approach which will cover a wide audience of adults working with children and young people.

"Awareness of Child Abuse and Neglect" is now available as an e-learning course.
