The annual reviews with CSCI (Commission for Social care Inspection) took place on 8 August 2008 (for Redbridge) and 13 August (for Waltham Forest). Both boroughs were rated as amongst the best performing boroughs in relation to employment and volunteering.

• as part of  Learning Disability Week, talented artists from Redbridge and Waltham Forest displayed their works of art at the prestigious Tate Modern Art Gallery. As part of the celebrations, our service users staged a very successful drama production "It's Not Unusual".
