Leisure activities for children and young people

FAQ for Leisure activities for children and young people | Contact for Leisure activities for children and young people

We have a range of information about leisure and social activities for children and young people.

From arts and crafts to athletics; dance and drama; football and martial arts; trampolining and water sports; as well as baby and toddler activities and much more !

There are so many activities to choose from and we know that parents and carers want to encourage young people to participate. But how do you know if they are safe?

You can read a 'Have fun and be safe' guide online on the NSPCC's website or or call Families Information Direct for a copy.

You can call us for information about activities to suit your child or follow this link to the Redbridge local pages on the childcarelink website ‘Leisure activities ‘.

We are constantly on the look out for new activities for children. Services may be privately run or in the voluntary sector. Do you know of a service that isn’t on our site?  Perhaps you are involved in running an activity or club for children – please let us have the details to share with families.

We promote our service throughout the borough at a range of outlets including libraries; health centres and schools as well as attending local family events – and our service is free!
