The Fostering Support Team

Deals with referrals for placements; advising, support, monitoring and reviewing foster carers and dealing with complaints, representations and allegations against foster carers.

The Fostering Development Team

Recruits, trains and assesses prospective foster carers and provides post approval training.  It also deals with private fostering publicity and notifications and assessments of private fostering arrangements.

The Adoption and Permanence Team

Recruits, trains and assesses prospecitve adopters and long term foster carers and provides post approval raining and support to adopters.  It works closely with children's social workers to find substitute families for children whom the court decides should not live with the birth parents.  It also deals with inter-country adoption, letterbox contact and provides other post approval adoption services.
