The Council in conjunction with our partners in North East London have assessed the unique risks of our area. The partnership consists of the London Boroughs of Redbridge, Havering, Barking and Dagenham, Newham and Waltham Forest. Membership further includes the local Emergency Services, Environment Agency, Health Services, Coast Guard and the various utility and transport service providers. All the relevant risks and threats are recorded in a document called the Community Risk Register.

Having identified and prioritised the risks, it allows the partners to plan and prioritise resources for optimal regional resilience.

Risk assessments take place on a continual basis with updates being made regularly. The North East London Community Risk Register is a public document that is published on our behalf by the London Fire Brigade-Emergency Planning.
