Parking permits (residents and visitors)
Residents parking permit
Every resident who lives within a controlled parking zone which
has permit parking is entitled to apply for a resident
permit. Each vehicle needs a separate permit (including
motorcycles), and there is no limit per household.
Visitors parking permit
You can also order a visitors parking permit which can then be
used by friends, relatives, health-visitors or trades people who
are visiting you. Each permit is valid for one
day. Visitor permits are only valid for use by
bona fide visitors visiting residents in the zone. Any fraudulent
use of these permits can lead to withdrawal or cancellation of the
permit and prosecution.
