The Mayor of Redbridge, Councillor Mrs Loraine Sladden invites
you to take part in the inaugural Mayor’s Challenge.
The Challenge launched on 1 October, is open to schools,
businesses, sports clubs, retail outlets, emergency services, local
press and individuals within the Borough.
This is your chance to help raise funds for the Mayor’s Charity
Appeal 2008/09 in aid of Haven House and The Dream
Factory.
The Mayor’s Challenge Trophy will be awarded to the
person/people raising the most money in each of the following
categories:
- School
- Sports Club
- Retailer
- Local businessman/woman
- Emergency Services
- Council Department
- Local press
- Individual fundraiser
- Most innovative fundraiser
The challenge will run for six months until 17 April 2009.

for completed entry forms is 31 October.
Trophies will be awarded at a special Presentation Evening to be
held in the Council Chamber on 5 May 2009 at 7pm. All participants
will receive a signed certificate.
